MCCADAM CHEESE PLANT BECOMES SOYMILK FACILITY

Times are changing. Soymilk will be produced at the former McCadam cheese plant at Heuvelton, NY. ProSoya Corporation (USA) has purchased the 41,000 sq.ft. building and has ordered a large capacity soymilk system to start producing soymilk extract for the industrial users by the fall this year. The building has over 20,000 sq.ft of refrigerated storage for warehousing extended shelf life chilled beverages. With room to grow, the company has an eye on meeting the rapidly increasing demand for nutritional beverages by supplying extract, powder, and turn-key solution to the marketing-strong aspirants of soymilk beverages and other products.
